ISLAMABAD: Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sadhu has assumed command of the Pakistan Air Force as the 23rd Chief of Staff.

According to reports, on the occasion of the change command ceremony, a well-armed contingent of the Pakistan Air Force saluted the outgoing Chief Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan.

During the ceremony, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan presented the Sword of Honor to Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sadhu and also conferred the ranks of Air Chief Marshal.

The formation of four JF-17 Thunder aircraft bid farewell to the retiring Air Chief.

Retired Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan said that it is definitely an honor to lead one of the best air forces in the world for which there is no substitute.

Mentioning the success achieved during Operation Swift Retart, he said that Alhamdulillah, the Pakistan Air Force has once again fulfilled the aspirations of the nation and proved to be the protector of its blue sky. Taught an unforgettable lesson.

The outgoing Air Chief said that the Pakistan Air Force has continued to move towards development with the vision of its Next Generation Air Force 2047 with innovation.

Congratulating the new chief, he said that his successor is an excellent leader and professional as well as a great man.
