Hazrat Khawaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki

When Hazrat Khawaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki (may Allah have mercy on him) passed away, he was devastated. The funeral was prepared and brought to a large field. Many people had come to offer funeral prayers. There was an ocean of human beings that was visible to the naked eye. When the time came for the funeral, a man came forward and said that I am the lawyer of Khawaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki (may Allah have mercy on him). Hazrat had made a will. I want to deliver that will to the assembly. The Senate was overwhelmed. The lawyer shouted. Hazrat Khawaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki (may Allah have mercy on him) bequeathed my funeral to a person who has four virtues in him.

His first takbir in life has never been made up.
His tahajjud prayers have never been made up.

He has never looked down on a non-mahram.
Be so devout that he has never abandoned the Sunnah of the age.
Let the person who has these four qualities read my funeral. When this was said, there was a senate on the assembly as if the assembly had sniffed a snake. A long time passed and no one moved forward. Finally, a man came to the funeral of Hazrat Khawaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki (may Allah have mercy on him) crying.
He picked up the chador from the funeral and said. Hazrat Aap himself died but revealed my secret.
After that, in front of a packed audience, knowing Allah Almighty to be present and watching, I swore that I have these four virtues in me. This man was Shams-ud-Din Al-Tamish, the king of the time.
Allahu Akbar !!
Sultan Shams-ud-Din Al-Tamish was a slave of Sultan Qutbuddin Aibak, first his son-in-law and then after his death as King of India. Remember that Qutbuddin Aibak himself was a slave of Sultan Shahabuddin Ghauri and Sultan Muhammad Ghauri. So all these are also called the rulers of the slave family and it is enviable for these Muslim crown princes to write that Sultan Nasir-ud-Din Mahmood, the son of this saintly king Sultan Shams-ud-Din Al-Tamish, used to write copies of the Holy Qur’an to raise his family. It should be remembered that Qutbuddin Aibak himself used to make a living by sewing the women’s clothes of Sultan Shahabuddin Ghauri and Sultan Muhammad Ghauri.
