RAWALPINDI: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that as a nation committed to youth, he will meet this challenge and inshallah will become a stronger nation by this time of difficulty.

According to Pakistan Army Department of Public Relations ISPR, the 231st Corps Commanders Conference, chaired by Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, was attended by corps commanders through videolink from their respective headquarters.

Corps commanders discussed steps to tackle the Corona virus situation and discussed issues related to the outbreak.

To cope with the outbreak, the Army Chief directed the army deployed to assist civilian administration in accelerating relief work in remote areas, while the situation in occupied Kashmir had deteriorated over the past six months.

Speaking on the occasion, the Army Chief reiterated that as a nation committed to the youth, he will tackle this challenge and inshallah will be able to become a stronger nation by this time of difficulty.

Earlier, Major General Babar Iftikhar, director-general of the Pakistan Army’s Public Relations (ISPR), said in a message on the social networking site Twitter that the Corona virus was shipped to Balochistan’s medical staff. The shipment was shipped to the Army Chief, including personal protective equipment and medical equipment.
