Dhaba-Style Chunai Meat Eid Special Dish.

Ingredients:

  • Goat meat (chunai cut) ½ kg
  • Onions (finely chopped) 2
  • Tomatoes (finely chopped) 3
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Ginger paste 1 tbsp
  • Green chilies (chopped) – 2-3
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Chili Red powder 1 tsp
  • Masala Garam powder ½ tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Mustard oil or ghee ½ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil or ghee in a pot and sauté the onions until golden brown.
  2. Add garlic, ginger, and green chilies, and sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Add tomatoes and cook until soft. Then add the spices (turmeric, red chili, cumin, and coriander powder) and roast until the oil separates.
  4. Mix in the yogurt well, then add the meat.
  5. Sauté the meat for 5 minutes, then add 1 cup of water, cover, and cook on low heat.
  6. Once the meat is tender and the gravy thickens, sprinkle garam masala and mix well.
  7. Finally, garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with roti or naan.
