Corona virus: Sindh govt decides lockdown, army seeks help

Karachi: Sindh government decides lockdown to stop spread of corona, lockdown was decided at a high level meeting and sought help from army to prevent virus.

According to details, Sindh government decided lockdown to prevent public transit to prevent possible impact of spread of Corona virus, Sindh government writes letter to Federal Home Minister asking for help ۔

According to the text of the letter, under Article 245, the army should be called upon to assist civil administration.

According to sources, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has taken the civil and military leadership into confidence. Lockdown in the province will be announced tomorrow. Lockdown was decided at a high level meeting.

On the other hand, Information Minister Sindh Nasir Hussain Shah, while talking to ARO News, said that Lockdown has no desire or pleasure, making difficult decisions, considering the seriousness of the situation.

Nasir Hussain Shah said that lockdown will be decided in the final meeting again tomorrow. Lockdown was proposed in the meeting today. Strategy will be made and action will be taken accordingly.

Sindh Information Minister said that strategy will be presented at the meeting tomorrow morning regarding lockdown, the meeting will review what kind of lockdown will be better.
