C-Pack projects are moving fast: PM.

C-PACK Project are Moving fast.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Matiari Lahore Transmission Line is a state-of-the-art project. He congratulated the Chinese Ambassador and others on the completion of this project.

He said that the work on this project has been completed rapidly in the last three years. The transmission lines have become obsolete. Line losses are high due to which even though there is electricity, they cannot save electricity. The transmission line has been laid on modern lines and the line losses are only 4%. So far the line losses were 17%. In case of 1% line losses, the loss is several billion rupees.

The Prime Minister said that Corona had affected C-Pack’s plans but was now moving towards completion. C-Pack plans will accelerate and temporary inflation will also come down. If money comes to the country, they will be able to lend.

He said that no investment had been made in the transmission line in the past and thus the extraordinary increase in the number of lines was now the focus of industrial development as without industrial development the country could not move forward and the national debt could not be repaid.

He said that increasing the use of new technology would remove obstacles to industrial development and would definitely increase the national exchequer.

Imran Khan said that due to Corona, food prices have gone up all over the world. Vaccines are being introduced in the country. Fear of Corona is decreasing. This has led to an increase in commodity prices around the world, but this inflation is temporary and will return to normal as soon as the vaccination process is completed.

It should be noted that the 886 km long transmission line has the capacity to transmit 4000 MW of electricity and 1973 towers have been constructed for this purpose.
