ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched a school and charity scheme for deserving families in the country under the Ehsas program.

PM launched school charity scheme for under the Ehsas program

According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan while addressing the function of Ehsas Education Program said that basic education of children is very important. Unfortunately, we did not pay attention to basic education of children. In our country, 20 million children are out of schools. We educate 20 million out-of-school children.
PM Imran Khan said that the biggest asset of the country is its people. When people are not educated, they lose their capital. No attention has been paid to the education of girls. An educated woman benefits her society. An important aspect of the program is that it will help bring out-of-school children, especially girls, into educational institutions.

He said that this scheme would encourage boys and girls for education. There is an impression in the West that we may not want to educate our daughters even though this is not the case and every Pakistani adorns his daughters with education. I want to do it but in some places schools are far away and there are no teachers which causes problems.

The Prime Minister further said that previous governments did not fulfill their responsibilities for the promotion of education. Not giving people a chance to move forward through education is cruelty and injustice. The present government is trying to provide education facilities to the children of poor families. The use of state-of-the-art technology will help make the school scholarship program transparent and effective.
