Google has introduced an important feature to identify the image created by artificial intelligence in seconds.
According to foreign media, the images produced by the artificial intelligence were strikingly similar to the originals, which there were no tools to immediately identify.
But now, keeping this problem in mind, Google has introduced a tool called SynthID to solve this problem. The tool is developed by Google Cloud in partnership with Google DeepMind and Google Research.
SynthID leaves a secret code (watermark) in AI-generated images that is invisible to the human eye but can be detected by a computer.
This tool is available to special users who use Vertex AI and Imagen. Imagen is a smart system that converts text to image.
SynthID doesn’t work very well, but it’s the first step in detecting fake images.
