The Bureau of Statistics has released new population data.
According to the new data, the total population of Pakistan is 22 crore 4 lakh 25 thousand 254, out of which the number of males is 11 crore 16 lakh 93 thousand 464 while the number of females is 10 crore 87 lakh 31 thousand 790.
The population of urban areas in the country is 8 crore 10 lakh 14 thousand 134 while the population of rural areas is 13 crore 94 lakh 11 thousand 124.
It should be remembered that according to the 2017 census, the population of Pakistan was more than 207.6 million.

According to the report, the world’s population is expected to be 8.5 billion by 2023. The world’s population was growing at the slowest rate since 1950. In 2020, it decreased by one percent.
