PM Imran Khan in his statement on social networking site Twitter said that people are always the strongest defenders of national sovereignty and democracy.
He said that it was the people who should come out and thwart this latest and biggest attack on the sovereignty and democracy of Pakistan by an external force through our local facilitators Mir Jafar and Mir Sadiq.
It should be noted that two days ago PM Imran Khan had announced a protest in Islamabad against the betrayal of the country during a direct telephone conversation with the people.
