According to a recent Gallup survey conducted in Islamabad, the business community is very worried about inflation and the depreciation of the rupee.

According to the report, about 70 percent of businesses in Sindh and Pakhtunkhwa and 64 percent of Punjab are facing bad conditions. According to 90 percent of businesses, the country is going in the wrong direction.

According to the Gallup survey, historical inflation has reduced the purchasing power of consumers, and people are disillusioned with the complete lack of stability in the political system and the threat of bankruptcy.

66 percent of the business enterprises are facing bad or worse conditions, the number of enterprises facing very bad business conditions has increased by 7 percent.

61 percent of businesses have negative expectations about the future, while 38 percent of businesses expect things to improve.

38 percent of the companies have reduced the workforce while 72 percent of the companies are worried about the possible default of Pakistan.
