Iran has launched a modern long-range cruise missile.

Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, claimed this in an interview.

While giving an interview to Iranian state TV, Commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh said that Iran’s cruise missile has a range of 1650 km.

According to Iran, this move may increase the concerns presented by the West after the use of Iranian drones in the war between Russia and Ukraine.

The Iranian commander said that cruise missiles have been added to Iran’s missile arsenal. He added that after the death of Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani in a US drone strike in Baghdad in 2020, a ballistic missile attack on US-led forces in Iraq. Amir Ali Hajizadeh says that Iran’s ballistic missile program is of a purely defensive nature, the Iranian missile system is capable of hitting any target.
