The deposed judge of Islamabad High Court, Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui, has said that due to the nexus of the judiciary and the army, Pakistan is currently going through difficult situations.
He said that the judiciary does not have enough power to raise its voice against the establishment, so it has always protected the wrongdoings of the establishment.
Until him 29 November 2022, I was seeing many things myself as a judge and then also regarding my case, I was seeing that the army was under pressure on the judiciary.
Since when is the judiciary playing its role in the affairs of government and state? On this question, Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui said that these things are going on from Ayub Khan to Justice Munir and then from General Qamar Javed Bajwa to Saqib Nisar.
He said that the military, judiciary and administration have no role in making Pakistan. Till August 14, 1947, all these people were working for the British. For this reason, they do not understand the constitution of this country.
According to him, the judiciary and the establishment have always given tough time to the governments. There has hardly been any stage in the history of Pakistan when there was no interference in the government affairs.
