In the interbank market, the dollar has reached a record high of Rs 194. In just one month of the formation of the new coalition government, the value of the dollar has risen by more than Rs 11.

In the current one-month government, the rise in the value of the dollar since April has increased the debt burden by Rs 1,400 billion.

On the other hand, the Pakistan Stock Exchange on the first day of the business week in the first session of the sharp decline in the interbank US dollar was 193 rupees.

The PSX 100 Index lost more than 1,100 points, after which the index fell below 42,300.
