It took 3 hours for the Titanic to completely sink. On April 15, 1912, at 6:20 a.m., the Titanic sank. It broke and drowned in the icy waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Only 750 people survived, most of them women and children. This tragedy took the lives of more than 1,500 people.
