Ingredients:
Rice (2 cups)
Oil (2 tablespoons)
Garlic (chopped, 1 teaspoon)
Ginger (chopped, 1 teaspoon)
Bell pepper (finely chopped, 1)
Carrot (finely chopped, 1)
Green onions (finely chopped, 2)
Soy sauce (2 tablespoons)
Chili sauce (1 tablespoon)
Vinegar (1 teaspoon)
Salt (to taste)
Black pepper (½ teaspoon)
White pepper (½ teaspoon)
Boiled peas (½ cup)
Chicken broth or water (1 cup)
Instructions:
Boil the rice and set it aside.
Heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic and ginger until golden brown.
Add bell pepper, carrot, and green onions, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
Mix in soy sauce, chili sauce, and vinegar.
Add boiled peas and chicken broth or water, and let it cook.
Finally, add the boiled rice and mix well so the sauce is absorbed by the rice.
Cook the rice on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
Your Sichuan rice is ready. Serve hot.
