Ingredients:
- Beef mince: 500g
- Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tablespoon
- Red chili powder: 1 tablespoon
- Cashews: 1 teaspoon (ground)
- Almonds: 1 teaspoon (ground)
- Peanuts: 1 teaspoon (ground)
- Coconut: 1 tablespoon (ground)
- Roasted chickpeas: 1 tablespoon (ground)
- Poppy seeds: 1 teaspoon
- Yogurt: ½ cup
- Onion: 1 (finely chopped)
- Turmeric powder: 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: to taste
- Oil: as needed
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat, then add the finely chopped onions and fry until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Well sauté until the spices release their aroma.
- Add yogurt and mix well. Cook until the gravy thickens.
- In a bowl, combine the mince with roasted chickpeas, poppy seeds, ground cashews, almonds, peanuts, coconut, and salt. Mix all the ingredients well and form small koftas (meatballs).
- Heat a little oil in a frying pan and fry the koftas on low heat until they turn golden brown.
- Add the fried koftas to the gravy and let them cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes so that they absorb the flavors of the gravy.
- Serve the hot royal koftas in a serving dish, garnished with fresh coriander leaves. Enjoy!
