Ingredients:
- 2 cups puffed rice
- 1 cup roasted peanuts
- 1 cup finely chopped onions
- 1 cup finely chopped tomatoes
- 1 cup boiled potatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup finely chopped cucumber
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon mustard oil
- 1 tablespoon tamarind chutney
- 1 tablespoon mint-coriander chutney
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the puffed rice, roasted peanuts, onions, tomatoes, potatoes, cucumber, coriander leaves, and green chilies.
- Drizzle the mustard oil over the mixture and toss everything together gently.
- Add the tamarind chutney and mint-coriander chutney to the mixing bowl and mix well.
- Sprinkle the chaat masala, red chili powder, and salt over the mixture and give it another toss to evenly coat everything.
- Serve the jhal muri with lime wedges on the side
