Colombo: Bangladesh defeated India by 6 runs in the final Super Four match of Asia Cup 2023 on Friday.
Despite Shibman Gill’s century, India, who were chasing 266 runs, managed to score 259 runs before being dismissed in the last over. With 121 runs off 133 balls, which included eight fours and five sixes.
Axar Patel was the other prominent run-scorer for India, who kept the game going till the last over with a brilliant score of 42 runs that included three fours and two sixes.
