Pakistan and Chinese private companies have successfully experimented with the cultivation of hybrid chilies, the length of these hybrid chilies is five to six inches compared to normal chilies.
After the successful cultivation of hybrid chillies, its commercial cultivation has started on thirty thousand acres in different cities of the country.
Dr. Abdul Rasheed, the pepper farmers, says that this project will prove to be a revolution not only in the country’s economy but also in the economic life of the farmers.
According to the Kisan Chinese Company, the production of all the hybrid chillies grown in Pakistan will be exported to China, which will earn Pakistan 75 million dollars in foreign exchange in five years.
