ISLAMABAD: corona virus has so far claimed 43,966 cases and 939 deaths

According to an update released by the National Command and Operations Center, the new and deadly virus has infected 43,966 people across Pakistan with the global outbreak of Widen Nineteen. Another 36 people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours, followed by deaths. The number has risen to 939.

In terms of population in Pakistan, the statistics related to corona virus is such that the death rate in 1 million population is 4% while the number of cases in 1 million population is 200. The condition of 111 patients in the country is critical. The rate of tests for the diagnosis of coronavirus is 1,817 per 1 million population.

At present, the number of patients undergoing corona in different cities of the country is 30,538. In Pakistan, 1,841 new cases of corona have been reported in 24 hours while so far 12,489 patients have recovered from the disease.

The command center said that 36 more deaths were reported in the country during the last 24 hours. The highest number of deaths so far was in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 334 deaths, followed by Sindh with 280 deaths, Punjab with 273 deaths and Balochistan with 38 deaths. There were 9 deaths while 4 deaths occurred in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Sindh has the highest number of corona cases at 17,241, Punjab has 15,976 corona cases reported, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has 6,230 cases, Balochistan has 2,820, Islamabad has 1,034, Gilgit-Baltistan has 550 corona cases and Azad Kashmir has cases. The number is 115.

According to the NCOC, 12,957 krona have been tested in the country in the last 24 hours. So far, 487,292 krona have been tested in the country. 4,974 patients have recovered in Punjab, 4,489 in Sindh, 1,944 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 524 in Balochistan, 368 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 113 in Islamabad and 77 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
