PSL5 Opening Match: Quetta Gladiators beat Islamabad United
Karachi: Quetta Gladiators defeated Islamabad United in the inaugural match of Pakistan Super League 5.
In the first match of the fifth edition of Pakistan Super League, Quetta Gladiators defeated Islamabad United, before Quetta Gladiators won the toss and decided to bowl first. However, Islamabad United won the Quetta Gladiators. Got a target of 169 runs. The Quetta Gladiators scored their first victory of the event, scoring a goal after a thrilling contest.
Thousands of spectators attended the colorful opening ceremony of PSL5’s Pakistan Super League 5, while thousands of fans were present at the cricket stadium, but the opening ceremony began with a national anthem.
Inaugurating a laser light show at the inaugural ceremony, various singers made their way to the music in the evening filled with colors, with their voices and artists performing their art and dance. CB Ehsan Mani and the owners of all the franchises and captains of all the teams were also present.
For the first time, all league matches will be played in Pakistan. The inaugural match of PSL is being played in Karachi today. Total 34 matches will be played in 32 days in the event, out of which 14 matches will be in Lahore, 9 in Karachi, 8 in Rawalpindi and 3 in Multan.
