Moscow: Russia has deployed the world’s fastest aircraft near the US border.

According to Russian media, the commander of the Russian Pacific Fleet, Admiral Sergei Okants, has said that Russia has deployed a group of the world’s fastest MiG-31 interceptor fighter jets in the eastern part of Russia’s Chokotka to control Arctic airspace. ۔

This eastern part of Russia is close to the US state of Alaska.

The Russian commander told a local newspaper that since December 1, groups of MiG-31 aircraft have taken up combat duty in the Arctic.

He further said that the relevant infrastructure has been set up at Nadiar Airport, the administrative center of Chakotka. This will help our forces to be on 24-hour air defense duty.
