LAHORE: Lahore Qalandars defeated Quetta Gladiators by 37 runs in the 16th match of the Pakistan Super League Five.
According to details, exciting matches are underway in the fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League. In the 16th match of the event, Lahore Qalandars defeated defending champion Quetta Gladiators by 37 runs and secured their first victory in the event. Earlier, Lahore Qalandars gave Quetta Gladiators a target of 210 runs to win. Lahore Qalandars scored 209 for 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Mohammad Hafeez returned to the pavilion without scoring, including Patel 71 and Ben Dink remained unbeaten on 93. Quetta Gladiators scored 172 runs in 20 overs in pursuit of target.
Three important changes were made to the Lahore Qalandars team, with Maaz Khan, David Viz and Dan Vilas out of the squad, while Prasanna, Ben Dink and Mohammad Faizan were added to the squad. A change was made in the team after which Fawad Ahmed was added to the team instead of Sohail Khan.
Remember that for the first time all Pakistan Super League matches are being played in Pakistan. A total of 34 matches will be played in 32 days in the PSL event. Out of which 14 matches will be in Lahore, 9 in Karachi, 8 in Rawalpindi and 3 in Multan. The Super League final will be played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on March 22.
