Karachi Lockdown across Sindh Including Till 8 August

Toddy meeting of the provincial task force on the situation of corona virus was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah at the Chief Minister’s House Karachi in which it was approved to impose more restrictions in the city which will not vaccinate them in August. Will not be paid.

With the new restrictions in Karachi, there will be a 9-day lockdown from tomorrow to August 8, under which intercity transport will be closed, government offices will be closed from next week, while export industry will remain open, medical stores will remain open but all markets will remain closed. Visitors’ vaccination cards will be checked.

According to the decision, the decision to close Shadi Halls, Cinema, Tourist Places, School Cages has been upheld while the decision to keep shops closed till 6 pm has been upheld. The NCOC will be recommended for closure of inter-district transport.

On the other hand, the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) had opposed the complete lockdown. Chief of ncoc and Federal Minister for Planning Asad Omar had said that closing the entire city for weeks was not the solution.
Implementation of SOPs and lockdowns in more affected areas was successful.

In Karachi, the rate was 22.6 per cent, in Hyderabad, the rate of corona positive cases was 9 per cent and in Sindh as a whole, 13.4 per cent.
