ISLAMABAD The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has announced 1.7 billion for Pakistan Corona Response

According to details, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Khusro Bakhtiar had a virtual meeting with the President of the Asian Development Bank in which he assured ADB to provide 1. 1.7 billion for Pakistan Corona Response.

The Asian Development Bank will approve 800 800 million in budget support by June this year and the next tranche of 900 900 million by December 2020.

Under the Budget Support Program, the money should be given to Pakistan on special concessional basis, for which Federal Minister Khusro Bakhtiar thanked ADB for its financial support for Corona Response.

Yesterday, the Ambassador of Japan had a meeting with the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Khusro Bakhtiar. On this occasion, the Japanese Ambassador said that the grant aid to Pakistan has been extended to the tune of Rs. 2.5 billion. The aid will strengthen Pakistan’s ability to revive the economy.

It may be recalled that in March, the Asian Development Bank had announced to provide 50 million dollars to Pakistan to deal with the corona virus.
