Federal Minister Asad Umar said in his message on social networking website Twitter that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s big announcement for all citizens of Islamabad was to bring health facility card system. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was the first province to announce the facility, after which the system would be implemented in Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Islamabad.
It may be recalled that Prime Minister Imran Khan, while congratulating Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on becoming the first province to provide universal health coverage, had said that under the free health facility, every family would be able to get treatment up to Rs 1 million annually.
