ISLAMABAD: PM Imran khan has issued an important directive on reducing petroleum prices

According to details, the Prime Minister took important steps to reduce the prices of petroleum products. He directed the provinces to take emergency measures to further reduce inflation.

Sending a message to the provincial governments of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in this regard, the Prime Minister said that the fruits of reduction in prices of petroleum products should be passed on to the common man.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that inflation has been increasing without any delay due to increase in oil prices.
He directed the provinces to take action against illicit profiteering in collaboration with the district administration and reduce prices in any case or take other drastic action.

The federal government has reduced the price of relief petrol to the poor by Rs 15 per liter

Sources in the Prime Minister’s Office said that a message has also been sent to the provincial governments of Sindh and Balochistan in which they have been asked to take appropriate steps to reduce prices in the light of the Prime Minister’s directives. That the direct benefit of the reduction in the prices of petroleum products should be passed on to the people.

It may be recalled that the government has reduced the price of petrol by Rs 15 per liter for May, after which the new price has been reduced to Rs 81.58 per liter. High speed diesel has been reduced by Rs 27.15 per liter after which per liter. The price has gone up to Rs 80.10.
Kerosene has been reduced by Rs 30, after which the new price has gone up to Rs 47.44 per liter. Light diesel has become cheaper by Rs 15 to Rs 47.51 per liter.
