ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjarani has given credit for his success to the Prime Minister.

According to details, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani in his statement said that yesterday’s enthusiasm was visible. Everyone was counting one vote. He had never seen such happiness as yesterday.

The Senate chairman said that Imran Khan had given special instructions to his senators and the real credit for winning the election goes to the Prime Minister.

Sadiq Sanjarani said that the Prime Minister decided to give the seat of Chairman Senate to Balochistan. He thanked the PML-Q, GDA and MQM and also thanked the members who voted for him.

He said that he would be neutral and take everyone with him. He said that there would be no change in his policy. He said that Imran Khan listened to him and made great sacrifices.

It may be recalled that government candidates Sadiq Sanjarani and Mirza Afridi won the election of chairman and deputy chairman in the Senate by a landslide.

In the election of chairman, Sadiq Sanjarani got 48 votes and Gilani got 42 votes while Mirza Muhammad Afridi who defeated Ghafoor Haideri got 54 votes.
