Increase in number of Corona virus patients in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Assistant Prime Minister for Health, Dr Zafar Mirza, has confirmed that two more cases of coronavirus have been reported in Pakistan, after which the number of patients has increased to 4.

During a press conference with Firdous Ashiq Awan, Assistant Special Information and Broadcasting in Islamabad, he said that one case was reported in Sindh and one in Federal. The first reported patient is recovering fast. The cabinet meeting lasted 3 hours, but there was no emergency regarding the Karuna virus in Pakistan. He requested the media to refrain from broadcasting personal information about patients. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on the occasion, Firdous Ashiq Awan said

The recommendations of today’s meeting will be presented at the Cabinet meeting on Tuesday. All political parties related to the Corona virus should play a role in public awareness. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that we want the Ministry of Health to get facilities and ownership. This will help the Ministry of Health deal with the issue. The government will develop the structure in this regard. The Special Supporting Information said that the opposition in the Senate expressed concerns about Karuna. There is no emergency but we have to be prepared. We will inform the public through the media.

On the other hand, the Sindh Health Department has also confirmed another case of the Karuna virus in the city. According to the Sindh Health Department, a person confirmed to be in Karachi had traveled to Iran where the virus was transmitted to him.
The victim has been shifted to the isolation ward and treatment facilities are being provided. The Health Department of Sindh says that the patients whom the patient has met are being monitored.
